About the Artist Cindy Testerink

Creativity has always been part of the rhythm of Cindy's life—woven into the fabric of her earliest memories. She became a mother at the tender young age of 16, She has two daughters and a son, Grammy to three amazing grandchildren and in 2025 she became a Great Grammy to a sweet baby boy..

Over the past four decades, She has explored many forms of expression: watercolor, acrylic, oil, sculpture, jewelry, and print design. Each medium offered a different voice, a new way to listen and respond to the world around her. Now that Cindy is semi-retired she is pursuing her passion for art and offering commissioned work along with plans to offer classes and wellness sessions as an Art therapy practitioner.

Painting is where Cindy resides—where her truest voice sings loudest. It is her music, shaped not by sound but by color. Each brushstroke is a note, each composition a song of feeling, shaped by instinct moved by emotion and refined by her love and joy.

Cindy's work is not about representation—it’s about resonance. A glimpse into the wonders of GOD's creation. A curve, a contrast, a collision of hues. A moment suspended. These paintings are meant to be felt, inviting the viewer into quiet reflection, emotional memory, or simply the beauty of being present in the moment, in the world that GOD created for us. Where the viewer can feel a spark and sense the presence of our Lord.
